Hong Kong Aviation Scholarship Scheme

Introduction

To encourage continuous professional enhancement for the aviation sector, we will provide full scholarships, capped at HK$100,000 each to selected students to complete aviation-related bachelor degree or master/ advanced master degree programmes. The exact scholarship amount to be offered will be subject to the tuition fees of the programmes identified for this initiative.

The following programmes are identified to be eligible for the Hong Kong Aviation Scholarship Scheme for the academic year 2024/25 (in no particular order):

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants should

* Commencement of training under a cadet pilot training programme approved by the Civil Aviation Department under the CAD 509 scheme within three calendar months upon graduation from the identified programme, and successful completion of such cadet pilot training programme, will be regarded as having fulfilled the requirement.

Each scholarship recipient will be required to sign an undertaking with the government to the effect of the conditions above. In case the recipient fails to fulfill any one of the above conditions, they are required to refund the scholarship received in full to the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
