Proposed footbridge in Central gazetted

The Government published a notice in the Gazette today (February 14) on the proposed works of an open footbridge connecting the existing Central to Mid-levels Escalator and Walkway System and the Central Police Station Compound.

The proposed works are set out in the Annex. The plan and scheme of the works are available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:

Central and Western District Office,
Public Enquiry Service Centre,
Unit 5, G/F, The Center,
99 Queen's Road Central,
Hong Kong

District Lands Office,
Hong Kong West and South,
20/F, Southorn Centre,
130 Hennessy Road,
Wan Chai, Hong Kong

Any person who wishes to object to the works or the use, or both, should write to the Secretary for Transport and Housing, 22/F, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong, on or before April 15, 2014.
