Public Consultation on Proposed Measures to Improve the Traffic Distribution among the Road Harbour Crossings

Introduction

The Government commissioned in November 2008 a consultancy study on rationalising the utilisation of RHCs, which was completed in September 2010. Subsequently, the Government completed, in the first quarter of 2011, a 3-month public consultation exercise on the findings and recommendations of the consultancy study.

In the light of the views received during the public consultation, Transport and Housing Bureau has been studying and fine-tuning some of the toll adjustment options based on those recommended by the consultants and putting forward three refined toll adjustment options for further public consultation.
